Disney Store: Sales Associate (Seasonal)

Responsibilities

• Engage and provide guests with an entertaining and magical experience to ensure “The Best Retail Experience in the World.”
• Support the Disney Store Mission, “Creating Magical Moments for Guests of all Ages.”
• Connect with guests by asking open-ended questions to assess needs and make appropriate product suggestions.
• Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that entertains and delights guests.
• Assist guests in finding solutions that meet their needs while leveraging resources like Disneystore.com.
• Treat all guests and cast members with respect and foster a positive work environment.
• Maintain Disney brand standards in guest engagement, visual merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while delivering excellent guest service.
• Participate in shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Uphold all company policies, including Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Business Conduct.
• Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and call-in shifts (if permitted).
• Must be available a minimum of two (2) shifts Monday through Friday with weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. and climb a ladder.
• Must submit verification of legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Retail or service experience preferred, with demonstrated guest-focused engagement.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and receive feedback constructively.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and meet Disney Store grooming guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in specialty retail or the service industry (preferred).

Pay

The pay rate for this role in California is $19.40 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

Schedule

This is a part-time, non-exempt seasonal position beginning in late September and concluding in mid-January. A seasonal position does not guarantee an offer of permanent employment.
