Disney Store: Sales Associate (Seasonal)

Disney Store and DisneyStore.com are the retail merchandising arms of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, extending The Walt Disney Company’s brands to merchandise. Responsibilities

• Deliver “The Best Retail Experience in the World” by engaging guests with an entertaining and magical experience, supporting the Disney Store mission of “Creating Magical Moments for Guests of all Ages.”
• Connect with guests using open-ended questions to assess needs and provide tailored suggestions.
• Foster a high-energy, fast-paced environment that entertains and delights guests.
• Assist guests in finding solutions that meet their needs, leveraging resources like DisneyStore.com.
• Maintain respect for all guests and cast members, contributing to a positive work environment.
• Uphold Disney brand standards in guest engagement, visual merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while delivering excellent guest service.
• Participate in shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Adhere to company policies outlined in Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Business Conduct.
• Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.
• Retail or service experience preferred; ability to demonstrate strong guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor.
• Work effectively as part of a team and receive feedback constructively.
• Maintain a professional appearance in line with Disney Store grooming guidelines.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and call-in shifts (if permitted).
• Minimum availability of two shifts Monday through Friday, with weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. and climb a ladder.
• Must submit verification of legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in specialty retail or service industry (preferred).

Pay

The pay rate for this role in California is $19.40 per hour.

Schedule

This is a part-time, non-exempt seasonal position beginning in late September and concluding in mid-January. A seasonal position does not guarantee an offer of permanent employment.
