Disney Store: Sales Associate (Seasonal)

About the Role

The Seasonal Cast Member role is a temporary, part-time, non-exempt assignment beginning in late September and concluding in mid-January. This position does not guarantee an offer of permanent employment with Disney Store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Guests have “The Best Retail Experience in the World” by providing an entertaining and magical experience.
• Support Disney Store’s mission, “Creating Magical Moments for Guests of all Ages.”
• Engage with Guests using open-ended questions to assess needs and make appropriate suggestions.
• Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that delivers an entertaining, fun, and dynamic experience.
• Assist Guests in finding solutions that meet their needs while leveraging resources like Disneystore.com.
• Maintain respect for all Guests and Cast Members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Uphold Disney brand standards in Guest engagement, visual merchandising, and housekeeping.
• Perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while maintaining high Guest service standards.
• Participate in shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies outlined in Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Business Conduct.
• Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and call-in shifts (if permitted).
• Must be available a minimum of two (2) shifts Monday through Friday and have weekend availability based on business needs.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. and climb a ladder.
• Must submit verification of legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate strong Guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor.
• Demonstrated success working as part of a team.
• Ability to receive feedback and take appropriate action.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and meet Disney Store grooming guidelines.
• Previous experience in specialty retail or the service industry (preferred).

Pay

The pay rate for this role in Oklahoma City, OK is $12.25 per hour.
