Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher to properly clean all dishes and cooking utensils used in the kitchen and restaurant
• Scrub pots and re-stock all supplies in assigned areas
• Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including cleaning and mopping kitchen floors and trash removal
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas and back dock
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of dish room, kitchen aisle, and dock area
• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass, and silver using proper procedures
• Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside
• Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster
• Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside
• Restock all clean glasses, silverware, and plates
• Perform general cleaning to stay in compliance with the Health Department
• Put away food stock and dry goods in their proper location, rotating “first in, first out”
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
• Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
• Clean up unexpected spills or execute special guest requests

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English
