Dishwasher | Hilton Garden Inn, Marlborough

About the role

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware and equipment, completing general routine cleaning tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with CSM, brand, local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all health regulations and follow CSM’s high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the dish machine, ensuring minimum temperature requirements are met.
• Clean the dishwasher, change water based on usage, and clean curtains and traps.
• Air-dry dishes as needed to prevent spots and ensure proper storage (not stored wet).
• Inspect dishes being washed and re-wash as necessary.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain floors.
• Complete deep cleaning projects and quarterly power sprays of the kitchen.
• Clean other areas such as the associate break room as needed.
• Anticipate and respond to varying levels of business to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Assist others on the team within and outside the department to ensure guest needs are met.
• Adhere to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste, including monitoring dishwashing and cleaning chemical use.
• Help reduce breakage during washing and storage.
• Operate all equipment following safe and proper procedures.
• Follow all CSM procedures for guest/associate incidents.

Requirements

• Some high school coursework required.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, standing, carrying, bending, and moving about the dish room continuously during the shift.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Pay

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
