Dishwasher (Associate)

About the role

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) seeks an individual to assist the Food Services Department in the dining room and kitchen, serving food for BGEA employees and guests. This position requires maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the dining room and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean up before and after daily lunch periods and banquets
• Perform all dishwashing duties, including pots and pans
• Ensure the cleanliness of the dishwasher and coffee urns
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
• Fill in as necessary with other Food Service functions

Requirements

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Faithfully uphold BGEA in prayer
• Participate in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading and leading group prayer as schedule permits

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and clean up before and after daily lunch periods and banquets

• Absolutely ensure the cleanliness of the dishwasher and coffee urns
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules

Marginal Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate other kitchen equipment as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
• Aid in daily food preparation, as needed
