About the role
The Disaster Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant disaster management regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement disaster preparedness plans
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update plans accordingly
- Train staff on emergency response procedures
- Coordinate with external agencies during emergencies
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Risk Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in disaster management or related field
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal disaster regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with disaster management software
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
