Job Summary
Works closely with the EHS Managers to conduct facility inspections and audit safety programs. Systematically recognizes and records health, safety, and environmental hazards at all facilities. Contributes to environmental reports and regulatory programs including SPCC, RCRA, and SWPPP. Maintains records of air emissions. Ensures compliance with permit conditions through regular inspection and corrective action.
Essential Responsibilities/Activities
- Supports EHS Managers by writing, revising, and maintaining policies and programs.
- Collaborates with each facility’s EHS team to evaluate and track programs.
- Prepares reports for submission to corporate or regulatory bodies.
- Develops resources for safety and environmental compliance audits.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience in environmental, health and safety required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of Environmental Regulations and OSHA standards required.
- Experience managing Title V Air Permits strongly preferred.
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment a plus.
- Experience with continuous improvement a plus.

- This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
- This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
- The ability to walk continuously through manufacturing and warehouse facilities for up to 3 miles is required.
- The ability to climb up and down a ladder or use steps required.
- The ability to wear PPE required.
Job Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field; 3+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety compliance, auditing, or program administration, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations and occupational safety standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with standard office productivity software.
- Ability to develop clear policies, reports, and training materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend practical solutions.
- Ability to diplomatically communicate constructive feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to present information to small-to-medium-sized groups.
