Disabilities Day Program Specialist- M-F 8a-5p

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment.
• Safeguarding the health and safety needs of the individuals.
• Supervising, teaching, and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life.
• Transporting individuals between their homes and the Day Program using a company van.
• Offering personal care assistance.
• Participating in community outings with the assistance of the individuals served.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• A valid Ohio driver's license.
• No more than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record.
• The ability to push, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs., and the capability to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.
