About the role

The Director/VP, Enterprise Client Services will join our downtown San Francisco office, reporting to the EVP, Commercial Growth. This role focuses on delivering world-class service to partners, ensuring effective communication and executional excellence for campaigns and programs of all sizes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for soon-to-close and existing partners of EMPIRE and our artists
  • Serve as the primary internal stakeholder and center of intelligence for all active programs
  • Develop clear roles and responsibilities for the department and each program in production
  • Establish close working relationships with partners to anticipate expectations, identify new opportunities, and address potential issues proactively
  • Lead the generation of deliverable packages, margin analysis calculators, media plans, and term sheets
  • Ensure EMPIRE maintains a well-defined process for capturing program success metrics and a company-wide case study library
  • Manage relationships with outside production vendors as needed for program activation
  • Participate in mid-to-long-term strategy building for the Enterprise Client Services division

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Client Services
  • 4+ years of experience as the primary point of contact for partners
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Professional demeanor when working with artists and their teams
  • Hyper-organized with a passion for process
  • Ability to communicate effectively with music, talent, client, procurement, and legal stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong network of freelancers in Account and Production roles
  • Working knowledge of EMPIRE’s history, artists, and capabilities
  • Desire to pioneer new approaches to partnerships in the music industry

Pay

Pay range: $135,000 - $225,000 annual salary, plus benefits, discretionary bonus, and profit-sharing program. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation elements may apply depending on the position.
