About the role

KPMG is seeking a Director, UKG to join our Advisory Services practice. In this role, you will sell and deliver UKG transformations across products such as UKG Pro, UKG Ready, and UKG Dimensions, as well as strategy, transformation, and innovation projects spanning multiple industries. You will own and lead client projects focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation, with a particular emphasis on Workforce Management (WFM).

Responsibilities

  • Sell and deliver UKG transformations in one or more of the following UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) products and modules: UKG Pro, UKG Ready, UKG Dimensions.
  • Sell and deliver strategy, transformation, and innovation projects across multiple industries, with a focus on Workforce Management (WFM).
  • Own and lead client projects aimed at improvement, optimization, and transformation, including building and implementing strategic roadmaps.
  • Plan and facilitate strategic design sessions with executives and leadership.
  • Develop high-quality work products (e.g., written briefings, status reports, issues/risks logs) using qualitative and quantitative data, demonstrating problem-solving skills through critical thinking and intellectual rigor.
  • Conduct proposal development and new business activities, including creating go-to-market materials and new solutions, while leveraging relationships with client business leaders.
  • Deliver process improvement and transformation projects spanning all aspects of Workforce Management systems, specifically UKG, as part of a team solving complex operational issues using technology-enabled solutions and advanced analytics.
  • Independently and collaboratively participate in client projects focused on improving processes for quality, operational, and financial enhancements, including business requirements gathering, document review, data-driven insights, and process mapping.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum twelve years of recent, relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: Strategy and Transformation, Organization Design and Effectiveness, Target Operating Model Strategy, Competencies and Skills Development, Performance Management, Workforce Management & Planning, or Go-To-Market business development and creation of new solutions.
  • Preferred ten years of experience in advisory services within a major consulting firm; Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; preferred concentrations include business administration, information technology, biology and life sciences, economics, finance, industrial engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Solid experience leading teams, managing projects, facilitating meetings, drafting status reports, tracing issues, monitoring resources, and workflow analysis and design, with project experience in Workforce Management (WFM).
  • Progressive experience working on teams with exposure to managing projects, leading meetings, drafting status reports, tracing issues, monitoring resources, and workflow analysis and design, with proven project experience in clinical, quality, financial, information technology, and operational areas.
  • Experience handling, analyzing, and evaluating large data sets (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Excel, Access, Power BI) and Data Warehouse management, ideally with Workforce Management systems such as UKG Dimensions.
  • Proven expertise, including certifications, in one or more of the following UKG products and modules:
    • UKG Pro: Proficient in modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, Talent Management, and Performance.
    • UKG Ready: Knowledgeable in Time and Attendance, Scheduling, Hiring, and HR.
    • UKG Dimensions: Experienced with advanced scheduling, workforce management, analytics, and mobile solutions.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

California Salary Range: $204,725 – $370,530. Salary is determined based on relevant factors such as skills, job responsibilities, prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations. For salary ranges in other cities, visit KPMG’s Pay Transparency page.
