About the role
KPMG is seeking a Director, UKG to join our Advisory Services practice. This role involves selling and delivering UKG transformations across products such as UKG Pro, UKG Ready, and UKG Dimensions. You will lead client projects focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation, particularly in Workforce Management (WFM). The position requires building strategic roadmaps, facilitating design sessions with executives, and developing high-quality work products using qualitative and quantitative data.
Responsibilities
- Sell and deliver UKG transformations in one or more of the following UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) products and modules: UKG Pro, UKG Ready, UKG Dimensions.
- Sell and deliver strategy, transformation, and innovation projects spanning multiple industries, with a focus on Workforce Management (WFM).
- Own and lead client projects focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation; build and implement strategic roadmaps.
- Plan and facilitate strategic design sessions with executives and leadership.
- Develop high-quality work products (e.g., written briefings, status reports, issues/risks logs) for client presentations, demonstrating problem-solving skills through critical thinking and intellectual rigor.
- Conduct proposal development and new business activities, including go-to-market materials and solution creation, leveraging relationships with client business leaders.
- Deliver process improvement and transformation projects within Workforce Management systems, specifically UKG, as part of a team solving complex operational issues using technology-enabled solutions and advanced analytics.
- Independently and collaboratively participate in client projects to drive quality, operational, and financial improvements through business requirements gathering, document review, data-driven insights, and process mapping.

Requirements
- Minimum twelve years of recent, relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: Strategy and Transformation, Organization Design and Effectiveness, Target Operating Model Strategy, Competencies and Skills Development, Performance Management, Workforce Management & Planning, or Go-To-Market business development and solution creation.
- Preferred ten years of experience in advisory services within a major consulting firm; Big 4 experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; preferred concentrations include business administration, information technology, biology and life sciences, economics, finance, industrial engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Solid experience leading teams, managing projects, drafting status reports, tracing issues, monitoring resources, and workflow analysis and design, with project experience in WFM.
- Progressive experience working on teams with exposure to managing projects, leading meetings, and proven experience in clinical, quality, financial, information technology, and operational domains.
- Experience handling, analyzing, and evaluating large data sets (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Excel, Access, Power BI) and Data Warehouse management, ideally within Workforce Management (UKG Dimensions).
- Proven expertise, including certifications, in one or more UKG products and modules:
- UKG Pro: Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, Talent Management, and Performance.
- UKG Ready: Time and Attendance, Scheduling, Hiring, and HR.
- UKG Dimensions: Advanced scheduling, workforce management, analytics, and mobile solutions.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay
California Salary Range: $204,725 - $370,530. Salary ranges for other locations can be found here.
