Director, Transaction Advisory Services - Healthcare Financial Due Diligence

Job Summary

The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Director is responsible for leading financial due diligence engagements, supporting client expectations, and developing the national TAS strategy. This role requires excellent leadership and technical skills, with a focus on results and client relationships.

Job Duties

  • Leads client engagement teams throughout project delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Examines and advises on complex deal-related issues, including quality of earnings adjustments and financial analyses
  • Manages multiple engagements, including buy-side and sell-side mandates
  • Develops and maintains client relationships, addressing concerns and meeting expectations
  • Leverages BDO's resources to support client needs and identify business development opportunities
  • Works with TAS practice leadership to develop and implement practice strategies
  • Assists in proposal document preparation and client presentations
  • Provides performance feedback to team members and participates in annual reviews

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, with an MBA preferred
  • At least 8 years of professional services experience, with 5+ years in a dedicated TAS environment
  • Experience with complex national and multi-national transactions, including carve-outs
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Executive presence and strong business acumen
  • Proven ability to initiate and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts
  • Ability to work independently and manage unexpected issues

Pay

Range: $180,000 - $280,000
