Director, Transaction Advisory Services - Healthcare Financial Due Diligence
Job Summary
The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Director is responsible for leading financial due diligence engagements, supporting client expectations, and developing the national TAS strategy. This role requires excellent leadership, technical skills, and a results-oriented approach.
Job Duties
- Leads client engagement teams throughout project delivery ensuring quality and efficiency
- Examines and advises on complex deal-related issues, including quality of earnings adjustments, normalizations, and other financial analyses
- Manages multiple client engagements, including both buy-side and sell-side mandates
- Develops and maintains client relationships, sets quality standards, and coaches staff
- Reviews and presents due diligence reports to clients, addressing their M&A decisions
- Maintains client satisfaction, resolves issues, and pursues business development opportunities
- Leverages BDO's resources to support client needs and identify risks
- Assists in proposal document creation and client presentations
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required
- MBA preferred
- At least 8 years of professional services experience, with at least 5 years in a dedicated TAS environment
- Experience with complex national and multi-national transactions, including carve-outs
- Experience interacting with C-level personnel
- Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Executive presence and strong business acumen
- Proven ability to initiate and maintain relationships with all levels of client personnel
- Ability to work independently or within a team in a deadline-driven environment
Pay
National Range: $180,000 - $280,000
Maryland Range: $180,000 - $280,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $180,000 - $280,000
