Director, Transaction Advisory Services - Healthcare Financial Due Diligence
Job Summary
The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Director is responsible for leading financial due diligence engagements, supporting client expectations, and developing the national TAS strategy. This role involves leading multiple client engagement teams, ensuring quality services, and building client relationships.
Job Duties
- Leads client engagement teams throughout project delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Examines and advises on complex deal-related issues, including quality of earnings adjustments and working capital analysis
- Manages the full scope of transaction advisory work, including buy-side and sell-side mandates
- Develops and maintains high standards for client engagements and staff coaching
- Reviews and presents due diligence reports to clients for M&A decision-making
- Maintains and develops client relationships, addresses concerns, and pursues business development opportunities
- Works with management to promote the Transaction Advisory Services practice to clients
- Provides performance feedback to TAS team members and participates in annual reviews
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required
- MBA preferred
- At least eight (8) years of professional services experience, with five (5) or more years in a dedicated TAS environment
- Prior experience with complex national and multi-national buy and sell side transactions
- Experience interacting with C-level personnel
- Big 4 or other top-tier consulting firm experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Executive presence and strong business acumen
- Proven ability to initiate and maintain relationships with all levels of client personnel
- Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
