Director, Transaction Advisory Services - Healthcare Financial Due Diligence

Job Summary

The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Director is responsible for leading financial due diligence engagements, supporting client expectations, and developing the national TAS strategy. This role involves leading multiple client engagement teams, ensuring quality services, and fostering client relationships.

Job Duties

  • Leads client engagement teams throughout project delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Examines complex deal-related issues and provides insight into deal-specific matters
  • Manages the full spectrum of transaction advisory work, including buy-side and sell-side mandates
  • Develops and maintains high standards for quality and consistency in client engagements
  • Coaches and mentors staff in key areas of due diligence, report writing, and project management
  • Composes and reviews due diligence reports for client presentations
  • Maintains client relationships and addresses client concerns
  • Leverages BDO's firm-wide capabilities during client engagements
  • Identifies and communicates risks related to transactions to clients
  • Supports practice development initiatives and business development opportunities
  • Presents proposals and promotes the Transaction Advisory Services practice to clients
  • Provides performance feedback to TAS team members and participates in annual performance reviews

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required
  • MBA preferred
  • At least eight (8) years of prior financial statement-related professional services experience, including five (5) or more years in a dedicated TAS environment
  • Experience with complex national and multi-national buy and sell side transactions
  • Experience interacting and working directly with C-level personnel
  • Big 4 or other top-tier consulting firm experience preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Executive presence and strong business acumen
  • Proven ability to initiate and maintain solid relationships with all levels of client personnel
  • Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment

Pay

National Range: $180,000 - $280,000
Maryland Range: $180,000 - $280,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $180,000 - $280,000
