Director, Transaction Advisory Services - Healthcare Financial Due Diligence

Job Summary

The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Director is responsible for leading financial due diligence engagements, supporting client expectations, and developing the national TAS strategy. This role requires excellent leadership, technical skills, and a tenacious work ethic.

Job Duties

• Leads client engagement teams throughout project delivery ensuring quality and efficiency
• Examines and advises on complex deal-related issues, including quality of earnings adjustments, normalization calculations, and debt analysis
• Manages multiple engagements, including buy-side and sell-side mandates, and sets standards for quality and consistency
• Develops and maintains client relationships, coaches and mentors staff, and prepares due diligence reports for client presentations
• Works with engagement teams to prepare proposal documents and present to potential clients
• Assists in identifying and addressing risks and issues related to transactions and communicates findings to clients
• Supports practice development efforts, including business development, risk management, and resource planning
• Provides performance feedback to TAS team members and participates in annual performance reviews

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required
• MBA, preferred
• At least eight (8) years of prior financial statement related professional services experience, required, of which five (5) or more years have been spent in a dedicated TAS environment, to include complex national and multi-national buy and sell side transactions, required
• Carve-out experience, preferred
• Prior experience interacting and working directly with C-level personnel, preferred
• Big 4 or other top-tier consulting firm experience, preferred
• CPA, preferred
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, required
• Excellent project management and communication skills, as well as a sense of urgency and drive to help the company service its clients
• Solid knowledge of technical accounting areas such as US GAAP
• Exhibit an executive presence and strong business acumen
• Proven ability to initiate and maintain solid relationships with all levels of client personnel, as well as utilize network and industry relationships to identify business development opportunities
• Capable of working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment either independently or within a team dynamic while effectively managing unexpected issues and/or questions in a professional manner
