Director, Transaction Advisory Services - Healthcare Financial Due Diligence

Job Summary

The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Director is responsible for leading financial due diligence engagements, supporting client expectations, and developing the national TAS strategy. This role requires excellent leadership and technical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality services and building strong client relationships.

Job Duties

• Leads client engagement teams throughout project delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Examines and advises on complex deal-related issues, including quality of earnings adjustments and working capital analysis
• Manages multiple engagements, including buy-side and sell-side mandates
• Develops and maintains client relationships, addressing concerns and meeting expectations
• Leverages BDO's resources to support client needs and identify business development opportunities
• Assists in proposal document development and client presentations
• Provides performance feedback to team members and participates in performance reviews

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, required
• MBA preferred
• At least 8 years of professional services experience, with 5+ years in a dedicated TAS environment
• Experience with complex national and multi-national buy and sell side transactions
• Carve-out experience preferred
• Prior experience interacting with C-level personnel
• Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm experience preferred
• CPA preferred
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Executive presence and strong business acumen
• Proven ability to initiate and maintain relationships with all levels of client personnel
• Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
