Director, Technical Program Management - Risk Tech

Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Simplify technically complex problems and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science teams
- Grow and develop a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) while building the foundations for the TPM practice
- Focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results
- Collaborate across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to achieve goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
- 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services (preferably AWS)
- 3+ years of experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms
- 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery
- 3+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs, owning the business or technical vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, securing commitments on deliverables, and unblocking teams to land business impact
- Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)
- MBA or Master’s Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience

- Strong technical background, ideally in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills
- Quantitative approach to problem-solving and a collaborative implementer of holistic solutions; a systems thinker
- Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep empathy for teams and partners
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:
- Cambridge, MA: $230,400 - $263,000
- McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000
- Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
