Director Talent Acquisitions
Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join the team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is part of the BI&A Senior Leadership Team and owns strategic oversight and execution to attract, hire, and retain top talent within BI&A to support a portfolio of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security programs. The position reports directly to the CEO and partners with senior leadership and program managers to shape organizational hiring while leading a team of recruiters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute BI&A-wide talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals, including workforce planning, succession planning, and identifying high-potential leaders.
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding. Optimize workflows and applicant tracking systems to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Enhance BI&A’s brand to attract top talent and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future needs.
- Use data-driven insights to measure recruitment effectiveness, predict talent needs, and support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with human resources, marketing & communications, and senior leadership teams to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.
- Act as a hands-on recruiter to hire and close candidates.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in talent acquisition with at least 10 years as a recruiter or leading recruiting teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (four additional years of experience can substitute for the degree).
- Successful track record as a recruiter supporting DoD, DoW, National Security, and/or Intelligence Community programs.
- Experience managing other recruiters and talent acquisition teams.
- Proven ability to attract candidates to a company.
- Experience hosting and attending industry hiring events.
- Experience overseeing end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding.
- Experience optimizing workflows and applicant tracking systems to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Experience implementing successful referral programs.
- Ability to maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience leveraging recruiting technologies, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, to enhance sourcing and engagement.
- Experience using Taleo as an application tracking system.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for hiring events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting recruitment for Intelligence Community programs in Annapolis Junction or Northern Virginia.
- Experience supporting recruitment for polygraph-cleared positions.
- Experience supporting recruitment for software, data, AI/ML, and cloud skill sets.
Schedule
Hybrid work authorized. At least three days a week in the Annapolis Junction, MD office(s).
Pay
$170,000 - $180,000 (based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations).
