About the role
We are seeking a results-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to join our distributed People leadership team. This role offers an opportunity to work with a well-resourced leadership team and make a significant impact from day one.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and execute a scalable talent acquisition strategy that supports aggressive growth targets across Engineering, Product, Sales, and G&A.
Collaborate with the Executive Team, Finance, and Hiring Managers in an Agile environment to define headcount forecasts, hiring prioritization, and capacity planning.
Ensure high efficiency in the recruiting funnel; implement robust reporting on key metrics (Time to Fill, Cost per Hire, Pass-through Rates) and conduct post-hiring analysis (Quality of Hire).
Architect and lead our employer brand strategy across social media, tech communities, and events to position the company as a top-tier destination for remote talent.
Build and maintain creative sourcing strategies to uncover passive talent; lead "Headhunting" initiatives for critical executive and niche technical roles.
Implement rigorous inclusive hiring practices, from writing unbiased job descriptions to structuring diverse interview panels and sourcing from underrepresented communities.
Mentor and manage a team of Recruiters, Sourcers, and Coordinators; provide training to hiring managers on interviewing best practices and bias reduction.
Manage relationships with external search firms, agencies, and software vendors; optimize the recruiting tech stack (ATS, CRM, Sourcing tools) for automation and compliance.
Requirements
7+ years of professional Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 3 years leading a recruiting team in a high-growth environment.
Proficiency hiring in a distributed/remote context; familiarity with international hiring nuances (contractors vs. EOR vs. entities).
Data-Driven: Deep expertise in using data to diagnose funnel issues and forecast hiring timelines; you live in spreadsheets and dashboards.
Extensive experience with modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut).
A proven track record of building structured interview processes (Bar Raiser programs, Scorecards) that improve decision quality and reduce bias.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling outreach messages and negotiate complex offers with senior candidates.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
Proven track record of driving business results through talent acquisition initiatives.
Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations relevant to remote and distributed work environments.

We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $200,000 to $350,000, with additional benefits such as equity, remote setup, health insurance, time off, and retirement plans.
