About the role

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to join our distributed People leadership team. This role offers an opportunity to work with a well-resourced leadership team and make a significant impact from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute a scalable talent acquisition strategy that supports aggressive growth targets across Engineering, Product, Sales, and G&A.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Team, Finance, and Hiring Managers in an Agile environment to define headcount forecasts, hiring prioritization, and capacity planning.

  • Ensure high efficiency in the recruiting funnel; implement robust reporting on key metrics (Time to Fill, Cost per Hire, Pass-through Rates) and conduct post-hiring analysis (Quality of Hire).

  • Architect and lead our employer brand strategy across social media, tech communities, and events to position the company as a top-tier destination for remote talent.

  • Build and maintain creative sourcing strategies to uncover passive talent; lead "Headhunting" initiatives for critical executive and niche technical roles.

  • Implement rigorous inclusive hiring practices, from writing unbiased job descriptions to structuring diverse interview panels and sourcing from underrepresented communities.

  • Mentor and manage a team of Recruiters, Sourcers, and Coordinators; provide training to hiring managers on interviewing best practices and bias reduction.

  • Manage relationships with external search firms, agencies, and software vendors; optimize the recruiting tech stack (ATS, CRM, Sourcing tools) for automation and compliance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 3 years leading a recruiting team in a high-growth environment.

  • Proficiency hiring in a distributed/remote context; familiarity with international hiring nuances (contractors vs. EOR vs. entities).

  • Data-Driven: Deep expertise in using data to diagnose funnel issues and forecast hiring timelines; you live in spreadsheets and dashboards.

  • Extensive experience with modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut).

  • A proven track record of building structured interview processes (Bar Raiser programs, Scorecards) that improve decision quality and reduce bias.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling outreach messages and negotiate complex offers with senior candidates.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.

  • Proven track record of driving business results through talent acquisition initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations relevant to remote and distributed work environments.

Skills

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.

  • Technical proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools.

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $200,000 to $350,000, with additional benefits such as equity, remote setup, health insurance, time off, and retirement plans.
