About the role
The position is at a tech company. The Director of Talent Acquisition is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and executing our talent acquisition strategy as the company continues to grow. This position is ideal for a strategic, hands-on recruiting leader who can define the talent acquisition vision, lead hiring initiatives, build a high-performing recruiting team, and partner closely with executive leadership to attract exceptional talent aligned with our culture, values, and long-term business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead our end-to-end talent acquisition strategy by translating business objectives into hiring plans across global functions, including Engineering, Product, Go-to-Market (GTM), Operations, and other business areas.
- Design, implement, and oversee the recruiting operating model, covering every stage of the hiring process from intake, sourcing, assessment, and offer strategy through candidate acceptance, while delivering a consistent and exceptional candidate experience.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics to support continuous improvement, optimize recruitment strategies, and make data-driven decisions that enhance hiring outcomes.
- Lead and personally manage recruitment efforts for critical positions across multiple functions and organizational levels, ensuring timely hiring of top-tier talent.
- Develop and strengthen our employer brand to attract and engage high-caliber candidates.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and hiring managers by providing strategic hiring guidance, market insights, and data-driven recommendations.
- Build, lead, mentor, and develop the recruiting team by establishing performance expectations, providing coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully attracting and hiring high-performing talent across multiple business functions within high-growth organizations.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing, developing, and scaling internal recruiting teams.
- Proven experience leading hiring initiatives in fast-paced, rapidly growing organizations with high standards for talent acquisition.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage recruiting metrics and data to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and continuously improve hiring strategies.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to enhance recruiting processes and improve talent acquisition outcomes.
- Strong alignment with our culture and enthusiasm for representing and promoting the organization's employer brand.
- Highly proactive, resourceful, and results-driven, with the ability to overcome obstacles and drive hiring success.
- Passionate about building exceptional teams and motivated by achieving ambitious organizational goals.

$170k to $260k annually.
