Director, Strategic Alliances
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director, Strategic Alliances to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive the strategy and execution of key alliance relationships that expand market reach and create measurable business growth. The Director will partner closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, and other functions to strengthen external partnerships and convert insights from the field into commercial opportunities. With a strong focus on the employee benefits ecosystem, this leader will help shape partnership plans, deepen executive relationships, and influence revenue through strategic channels. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage high-value consulting and brokerage relationships
- Develop and execute account plans to enhance partnerships and foster growth
- Build relationships with key executive stakeholders within consulting firms
- Identify new strategic partnerships to broaden market influence
- Create and implement strategies that drive revenue from consultant channels
- Collaborate with Marketing on joint initiatives such as campaigns and events
- Act as a liaison for strategic partners, relaying insights and feedback to internal teams
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, consultant relations, business development, and/or enterprise sales
- Proven ability to cultivate executive-level relationships that drive measurable growth
- Strong grasp of the employee benefits landscape, including consultants and brokers
- Track record of executing strategic partnership plans with tangible outcomes
- Commercial acumen and history of influencing revenue pipelines
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with senior stakeholders
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Self-motivated and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel about 40% of the time

Pay
Compensation: $160,000 – $180,000 annually
