Reporting to the Vice President, Patient Support Services Solution, this role supports the Patient Support Services Solution in a client-facing and project management capacity.

About the Role

The Patient Support Services solution area at TGaS Advisors informs clients’ core organizational decisions: strategy, resources, processes, structure, responsibilities, metrics, and continuous improvement. This director-level position blends managerial oversight with hands-on execution across four key areas:

Responsibilities

  • Practice Lead & Product Development
    • Support the research program to meet TGaS standards, including defining and expanding core services for sub-functional areas (e.g., copays/coinsurance, Patient Support Programs (PSPs), Hub, patient education, Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs)).
    • Generate new business with existing and new clients to meet annual revenue goals by introducing TGaS Solutions or identifying custom project opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the Patient Support Services team and other TGaS practices to innovate and evolve services that drive improved revenue.
    • Participate in TGaS planning exercises and report to senior leadership.
    • Maintain service quality levels across supported Patient Support Services clients.
    • Develop thought leadership for value-forward selling, white papers, and PR.
    • Capture insights and data from advisory services for implementation in benchmark services.
    • Evolve deliverable formats to increase value for the network and individual clients.
  • Client Benchmark Engagements & Related Projects
    • Co-lead or support Patient Support Services projects, benchmarks, and on-site engagements, including interviews with senior leadership, executives, and stakeholders.
    • Capture quantitative and qualitative client information for TGaS’ database and analysis.
    • Prepare benchmark reports summarizing client resources and capabilities relative to peers and TGaS best practices, including recommendations for operational improvements aligned with client needs.
  • Advisory Services Engagement with Clients
    • Provide strategic oversight and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure successful execution and delivery of project initiatives.
    • Ensure TGaS delivers optimal value through contracted Advisory Services, including Virtual-How Network surveys (VHows), Client Summits, Landscapes, and ad hoc questions.
    • Produce high-quality, timely client deliverables in coordination with TGaS’ Analytics/Operations team.
    • Design, develop content for, facilitate, and conduct follow-up for semi-annual client summits.
    • Mentor staff on onboarding, peer review, and other managerial duties as needed.
  • Business Development / Opportunity Identification
    • Identify unmet market needs through client interactions and drive the development of new solutions or enhancements to existing ones aligned with TGaS’ business strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical patient support services; experience with emerging pharma companies or setting up patient support services infrastructure is a plus.
  • Experience or knowledge of key Patient Support Services functions, including:
    • PSP/Hub management
    • Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) Teams
    • Affordability solutions
    • Free goods programs
    • Program KPIs, reporting, and data analytics
    • Data sharing/data feeds common in patient support services
    • Patient engagement and adherence programs
    • Clinical nurse education programs
    • Patient services technology tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including preparing and delivering presentations at the highest levels of client organizations.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders; collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • High integrity and credibility as perceived by colleagues and clients.
  • Comfort working at the executive level, interacting closely with top leaders.
  • Ability to consult, problem-solve, work autonomously, and distill complex information into clear, actionable recommendations that improve business results.
  • Comfort with change management and driving ambiguous or complex data requirements to completion.
  • Local to East Norriton/Philadelphia, PA is a plus.
  • Travel requirements: 25-40% (local, regional, and national).

Pay

Base salary range: $148,000 - $222,000 per year, determined by skills, experience, job-related education, location, and internal equity. Eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
