Director, Software Engineering - Code Data

For our client, a leader in the Healthcare space, we are seeking a Director of Software Engineering to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, partnering with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and execution of Content Engineering initiatives
• Utilize deep domain expertise in Software Engineering and AI for solution development
• Oversee cloud-based SaaS services and Microservice architectures
• Mentor geo-distributed leaders and foster high-performance teams
• Cultivate relationships across the organization as a trusted leader
• Drive strategy development and project management for technology solutions
• Manage budgetary decisions and forecast future technology needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant area
• 15+ years of Software Engineering experience in a SaaS environment
• 7+ years' experience in an Engineering Leadership role
• Experience managing large teams (40+ people)
• Technical strength in cloud architectures and engineering processes

Pay

$150,000 – $214,000 annually
