Director, Social Services - Freeman Springdale Hospital

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for the social services department.
• Responsible for resident assessments, care planning, and helping residents and families adjust to their new surroundings.
• Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to top management.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in the field.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited social work program with a master’s degree.
• Minimum of seven years of clinical management experience.
• Licensed to practice as a social worker in the state of Arkansas as a LCSW.
