Director, Show Delivery
Job Summary
The Director, Show Delivery has overall functional leadership responsibility for the teams that comprise Show Leadership; Show Management, Production Design, and Technical Direction. This responsibility breaks into two main areas of concentration. First, together with the Directors of Production Design and Technical Direction, this role will maintain the current culture and processes, but also lead the development and refinement of new processes, standards, and documentation for Show overall. You will work with these leaders as they manage their own resource loading, budgets, and annual performance reviews, as well as provide annual performance reviews to these Directors. Second, as the direct leader for the Show Management department, you will foster, mentor, delegate assignments, manage resource loads, develop and manage department budgets, and provide performance evaluations for Show Managers and Show Coordinators. On occasion, you will need to be the acting Senior Show Manager on small projects, or early project development before other staffing can be identified. Additionally, this role will administer and functionally lead the Creative Studio Standards development and maintenance process as the Chair of the Standards Committee.
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Show management methodologies, and experience managing diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in championing Creative Project delivery
- Over 15 years of experience in the development and design management of major projects within the entertainment/themed development industries
- Skilful in problem solving as well as anticipating changes within team dynamics
- Holds excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, organizational as well as creative thinking
- Possesses considerable experience as a functional manager of people
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of programs as they are used on a daily basis:
- P6, Planera, or other primary scheduling tools
- Autodesk Construction Cloud - BuildAir
- Table or other database tools for managing key project information
- Google Suite

Work Environment The Director of Show Delivery works in a dynamic environment that includes both office and active construction site settings. Work may be performed in a standard office environment for project planning, coordination, and meetings, as well as on construction sites where exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and uneven terrain is common. The role requires adherence to all company and OSHA safety standards, and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when on-site. The position involves frequent collaboration with project teams, contractors, and vendors in fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure conditions to meet deadlines and project milestones. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. The role may involve climbing stairs or ladders, bending, reaching, or lifting objects up to 25 pounds while inspecting or overseeing project work. The employee must be able to visually inspect project sites, read detailed plans and specifications, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols.
