Director, Services Sourcing

About the role

The Director, Professional Services Category Management will hold strategic responsibility for optimizing professional services spend and enhancing strategic partnerships. This role operates within established guidelines, influencing short-term operational success and contributing to long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies across a diverse portfolio
• Streamline and optimize sourcing, contracting, and vendor management processes
• Leverage appropriate tools and systems to enhance efficiency and insights
• Identify and cultivate necessary internal and external capabilities to manage each category effectively
• Manage Services Sourcing Categories, including routine tasks and complex initiatives
• Ensure initiatives align with broader business objectives and corporate strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners, suppliers, and external experts

Requirements

• Proven experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement, with a focus on professional services
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across an organization
• Experience in developing and implementing category strategies for complex services
• Strong understanding of supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
• A Master's degree is a plus
