About the role
L’Oréal is seeking a highly experienced and ambitious leader with a proven ability to navigate complex business landscapes and influence executive decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strategic sourcing expertise, stakeholder management skills, advanced negotiation abilities, and strong analytical and financial acumen.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute multi-year category strategies that enhance competitiveness, optimize costs, and ensure service quality across the US and Canada.
- Act as a key advisor to CFOs, General Counsels, and other senior leaders, building strong influence to anticipate business priorities and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Lead high-stakes contract negotiations, manage key supplier relationships, and develop deep market intelligence to identify top-tier partners and innovative FinTech/LegalTech solutions.
- Translate global sourcing strategies for the North American market while proactively sharing regional insights to shape worldwide initiatives.
Requirements
- Strategic Sourcing: Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories.
- Stakeholder Management: A proven ability to build relationships and influence senior leaders across a matrixed organization.
- Negotiation: Advanced skills in leading complex negotiations for service-level agreements and contracts.
- Analytical & Financial Acumen: Strong analytical capabilities to translate complex data into actionable strategy and manage financial performance.
- Leadership: The capacity to lead cross-functional teams and drive ambitious projects with autonomy and vision.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing specialized services such as Legal, Banking, and Tax.
- Experience in driving cost optimization and service quality improvements in similar roles.
- Strong understanding of legal and financial regulations relevant to the industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay
Salary Range: $126,900 - $184,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level).
