Job Summary
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care and all staff activities for the Hospice & Home Health units including direct patient care. Maximizes resource utilization and achieves organizational objectives through continuous improvement and process evaluation for cost effective care and quality clinical outcomes. Ensures compliance with established organizational, professional and accreditation standards, and state/federal laws and regulations. In programs with coordinators in place, supports those leaders in addressing personnel, patient, and operational issues that escalate. Manages patient care operations. Directs and coaches’ staff in personnel and patient care processes.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
- Experience: Five years of current nursing experience. Two years of supervision/management experience.
- License(s): Current State of Alaska Registered Nursing License.
- Certification(s): Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
