Director Home Health-Hospice

About the role

The Director of Home Health at CommonSpirit Health is responsible for overseeing the operational management of the agency in alignment with the CHI mission, vision, and values. This role ensures that patients receive the highest quality care and contributes to maintaining high Home Health Compare & Hospice compare scores.

Responsibilities

• Takes a lead role in collaboratively setting and achieving annual quality targets for the agency and MBO
• Manages all financial operations, revenue, and expense to ensure the agency meets or exceeds annual budget
• Engages staff to ensure transparency and builds working relationships within community health facilities
• Attracts and retains high-quality staff who contribute to the sustained success of the agency/MBO
• Sets clear performance expectations with associated celebrations and regards; builds a high-performance team with a focus on excellence and achievement orientation and recognizes individual achievements throughout the performance period
• Interprets operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume, which could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse or degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Three years of leadership experience in a home health or related health care organization

Preferred

• Master's Degree in health care

Pay

$45.26 - $67.32 /hour
