Director, Revenue & CoGS Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead global Revenue, AR, and CoGS accounting functions with strategic oversight
• Direct integration of technical accounting policies into global workflows
• Define operational vision for ERP workflows and revenue automation, identifying process improvements
• Empower team to conduct sophisticated variance analysis on financial performance
• Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams on operational feasibility and compliance
• Oversee complex accounting issues related to non-standard customer contracts
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting teams for accurate disclosures and audit processes
• Evolve SOX compliance and internal audit strategies to meet regulatory needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with 6+ years in revenue accounting at a public company
• 8+ years leading high-performing management teams and nurturing effective team culture
• Expertise in ASC 606 and complex CoGS structures in SaaS/usage-based environments
• Deep experience with ERP systems like Oracle and revenue subledgers like Zuora Revenue
• Revenue Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders
• Expertise in SOX compliance and controls for complex data environments
