About the role

The Director of Rehabilitation Services manages and oversees departments at both Lee’s Summit Medical Center and Belton Regional Medical Center. This role integrates rehabilitation services with the hospitals' primary functions and involves:

  • Coordinating and integrating services within the department(s) and with other departments.
  • Leading program growth and development initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures that guide and support service provision.
  • Recommending qualified and competent staff to meet patient and non-patient care needs.
  • Providing orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for department staff.
  • Continuously assessing and improving department performance and maintaining quality control programs.
  • Recommending space and resources needed by the department and participating in selecting outside resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Allied Health field or Business Administration (Master’s Degree in Business or Health Administration preferred).
  • Current Missouri PT, OT, or SLP Licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One (1) year of clinical-related experience.
  • Two (2) years of management experience preferred.
