About the role

The Director of Rehabilitation Services oversees operations and clinical aspects of Mercy San Juan Medical Center's rehabilitation programs. Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring staff, coordinating care, optimizing schedules and workflows, managing budgets, collaborating with physicians, monitoring outcomes, identifying improvements, and implementing enhancement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor rehabilitation staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, regulations, and patient safety.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in business or healthcare-related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of varied clinical experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a rehab setting required.
• Experience in facility-wide integration and collaboration required.

Qualifications

• California state license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) required.
