Director, Project Management
About the Role
Lead and develop a command center team to support complex, integrated programs across multiple Dealer Experiences and/or the Financial Services Division. Partner cross-functionally to provide strategic and bold thought leadership while effectively driving initiative delivery. Prioritize among multiple time-intensive items and ensure the command center is used for the highest possible leverage.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
- Design, develop, and manage complex integrated plans that adapt to the changing needs of the customer in a fast-paced environment.
- Create clear scope definition and management, planning, communications, change management, and implementation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while effectively managing risks.
- Lead the team to deliver against metrics, regulatory requirements, customer requests, and strategic initiatives in a well-managed way.
- Foster proper infrastructure and controls to proactively identify and minimize key operational, financial, regulatory, and customer experience risks.
- Ensure well-managed, well-documented rigor with exceptional governance capabilities.
- Develop executive-level presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate with impact and clarity to internal and external parties.
- Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project/program efforts.
- Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates within their respective job families.
- Encourage experimentation to expand skill sets and foster meaningful conversations around career development.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 7 years of Project Management or Chief of Staff experience
- At least 5 years of People Management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 10+ years of Project Management experience
- 10+ years of People Management experience
- 2+ years in strategy consulting or advisory services
- 8+ years of financial services experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- Plano, TX: $187,300 - $213,700 for Director, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
