The Director of Partnership Sales at AEG is responsible for generating and closing sponsorship sales for assigned properties and regions. This role involves selling complex sponsorship assets, including media, experiential, and VIP hospitality packages, to event properties and locations.

This position requires expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions. It also demands excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. The Director must be able to work with leadership to manage a sales team and motivate them to meet their sales goals. They should have a proven track record in building successful partnerships and securing investments from Fortune 500 organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Sell complex sponsorship assets that include media, experiential, and VIP hospitality packages to assigned event properties and locations.
  • Identify and cultivate brands/marketing executives within targeted accounts who make event marketing and media decisions.
  • Create and develop presentations for clients and potential clients, including developing creative concepts for pitches and utilizing various resources for execution.
  • Address clients' concerns, questions, and objections to close sponsorship deals.
  • Resolve deal discrepancies and work with the legal team to draft deal terms.
  • Negotiate and renegotiate sponsorship assets/deal points for renewal and long-standing sponsorship deals.
  • Keep sales management apprised of progress toward established revenue goals and of the progress in closing identified prospects.
  • Use the department CRM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a related field.
  • 6-8 years of related work experience.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions.
  • Exemplary problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams from multiple AEG business units to accomplish the goals of the company.
  • Ability to work with leadership to effectively manage a sales team by motivating and supporting them to reach their sales goals.
  • Known throughout the industry for their poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possess a strong sales acumen and knowledge of the music space.
  • Proven track record in building successful partnerships and consistently securing investments with Fortune 500 organizations.

Qualifications

  • Related field 6-8 years of related work experience.

$140,000 - $155,000
