Director Operations Support

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Operations Support to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead operational support functions that strengthen execution, improve service delivery, and drive quality across the organization. The position will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to advance enterprise initiatives, optimize departmental processes, and ensure reliable business application support. It also includes responsibility for team leadership, budget oversight, and analytical decision-making that support a high-performing operational environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams to implement operational initiatives and promote quality
• Provide direction and accountability for team priorities
• Develop and motivate staff to align with core values
• Manage departmental budgets with forecasting and variance analyses
• Oversee and enhance department processes through system and root cause analysis
• Lead project delivery and business analysis for enterprise initiatives
• Direct the integrity of business applications and perform system administration tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 12 years of experience managing multifunctional operational areas or IS applications/software development; equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree
• 7 years of leadership experience preferred
• 10 years of experience managing multifunctional operational areas or IS applications/software development preferred

Pay

$157,978 – $252,765 annually
