About the role

The Director of NGGP Operations Permian is responsible for optimizing asset performance, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and driving operational excellence in support of Permian operations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct field operations, including but not limited to: Plant systems, Field systems, Reliability and optimization, Project Development, Workforce Development
  • Oversee in planning and monitoring capital and Operating and Maintenance (O & M) budgets
  • Oversee emergency situations insuring compliance with safety policies, available resources, proper documentation and post incident review
  • Cook interact with direct and indirect reports, corporate personnel, regional personnel, public officials, union representatives, contractors, customers and civic organizations on issues including general operating activities, employee issues, public projects and project scheduling
  • Cook coordinate ongoing safety and job-related training to comply with company policies
  • Cook Audit operations and records for efficiency and compliance with government codes
  • Cook Design alterations and/or additions to pipeline systems to resolve pressure, safety and compliance problems
  • Cook Interact with direct and indirect reports, corporate personnel, regional personnel, public officials, union representatives, contractors, customers and civic organizations on issues including general operating activities, employee issues, public projects and project scheduling
  • Cook Monitor, review, develop and prepare information, including but not limited to: Construction budget planning and analysis, Incident reports, Customer complaint resolutions, Financial analysis, Contractors’ work projects, Company’s response to public officials’ correspondence, Department reports, Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field; or an equivalent combination of work experience and training
  • Experience: Experience with and thorough knowledge of natural gas gathering, processing or transmission operations; Experience with all phases of project management including pipeline construction, budgets, financial analyses and regulatory compliance; Experience in use and function of office equipment including computer and applicable software; Experience and/or training related to: Cathodic protection and pressure control, Regulation, measurement and system design, Financial analysis, Company/governmental regulations, Environmental Safety and Health, Interpersonal communications; Experience reading, analyzing and/or understanding operations manuals, tariff information, right-of-way agreements, easements, gas charts, job orders, survey reports, contracts, safety manual, industry magazines, government regulations, labor agreements and company policies and procedures; Experience composing and preparing internal and external correspondence, budgets, department reports, construction reports, status reports, company standards, instructional diagrams and written procedures and employee information; Experience leading, directing, supervising and training; Experience interacting, advising, negotiating and communicating effectively; Experience preparing information, conducting meetings and making presentations
