About the Role
The Director of Operations will provide overall leadership and direction for the Broomfield, CO and Titusville, PA sites, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture. This role will oversee all functions within the facility, including manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance, planning, warehouse operations, and EHS, while partnering closely with HR, finance, and corporate leadership to align site performance with business objectives.

What You’ll Do at Justrite Operational Leadership
- Lead all site operations, ensuring performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity meet or exceed expectations.
- Oversee and develop direct reports including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse, and Quality leaders.
- Establish both short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives and sales forecasts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven decision-making to improve efficiency, throughput, and service levels.
- Continuous Improvement & LEAN Transformation: Champion LEAN manufacturing principles and culture across all departments. Drive standardization, waste elimination, and process improvement through engagement at every level. Lead kaizen events and ensure visual management and accountability systems are in place.
- Safety, Health, and Environment: Foster a proactive, safety-first culture ensuring compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations. Lead site EHS initiatives to promote a safe, clean, and sustainable work environment.
- People & Culture: Build and develop a high-performing leadership team, ensuring succession planning and career development opportunities. Promote open communication, teamwork, and accountability. Partner with HR to support employee engagement, retention, and organizational development.
- Financial & Strategic Accountability: Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Drive cost reduction and productivity initiatives while maintaining quality and service standards. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to broader business initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate and business unit leaders on all site-related activities. Collaborate with supply chain, quality, finance, HR, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on priorities and resource allocation. Represent the site in business reviews and support corporate-level projects and new product launches.
Your Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably with exposure to Reaction Injection Molding (RIM), Rigid and Integral Skin Foam, and open cast molding.
- Proven track record of LEAN leadership and cultural transformation in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of cost systems, production planning, quality management, maintenance, and safety programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, foster collaboration, and develop future leaders.
Additional Qualifications
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams); ERP system experience preferred.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000. Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
