Director - Oncology Operations
Responsibilities
In coordination with PHC System Oncology leadership, providing operational leadership for the oncology hospital-based operations, offering a continuum of services for patients, payers, and physicians.
Planning, implementing, directing, monitoring, and promoting all current and new clinical and supportive cancer programs and services in dyad partnership with the Physician Enterprise Director of Practice Operations.
Together, the directors oversee end-to-end oncology performance, lead action plans to support growth, clinical quality, patient experience, team experience, and financial performance.
Formulating budgets and ensuring appropriate profitability and/or revenue maximization for the oncology service line; working with PHC system marketing to implement marketing strategy and promotional tools to communicate the core messages of the cancer program and managing all human resources aspects of the service line.
Oversees entity participation in the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Commission on Cancer Accreditation (CoC) through the system's Integrated Cancer Network Program (INCP).
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in healthcare, business administration, or closely related field
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in oncology services and/or healthcare operations, with a minimum three years in oncology
- Prior clinical experience in oncology (strongly preferred)
