Director of Workforce and K-12 Partnerships Highlands College Full-Time-MUS Fiscal Year Contract Montana Technological University provides a comprehensive benefits package for all eligible positions that includes health, dental and vision insurance, mandatory retirement plan with employer contribution, partial tuition waiver, and a wellness program. Are you a strategic leader passionate about bridging the gap between education and career success? As the Director of Workforce Development and K-12 Partnerships, you will spearhead the growth, alignment, and implementation of our dual enrollment and high school workforce programs. You will cultivate vital relationships with industry leaders and K-12 educational partners to build robust school-to-work pipelines. Additionally, you will provide strategic oversight to curriculum development and directly supervise our dedicated dual enrollment and workforce training staff. Duties: Drive Strategy: Align dual enrollment and workforce offerings with institutional priorities and regional economic demandsBuild Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, public school districts, charter schools, and homeschool networksManage Agreements: Draft, execute, and oversee Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with all partner entitiesOversee Programs: Lead the implementation and growth of high school workforce initiatives, including The Foundations of Healthcare and Commercial Truck Driving school-to-work programsLead Teams: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the Dual Enrollment Coordinator and workforce training staff (including CNA and CDL instructors)Represent the Organization: Act as the primary institutional representative at community meetings, conferences, and workforce development initiatives Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration 5+ years working with High School/K-12 partnersA clear understanding of dual enrollment, the STARS Act, and workforce pathways 5+ years working in Higher EducationA proven history of workforce initiatives with High Schools including but not limited to pathways in Healthcare and Commercial DrivingExperience with workforce and academic platforms including but not limited to CDL PowerSuite, Banner, TMU (training site- Headmaster), and CanvasExperience supervising staff . Preferred Qualifications: Master of Science in Management/Leadership Physical Demands: Ability to move across various event locations and transport recruitment materials weighing up to 20 pounds for career fairs and school visits, with or without a reasonable accommodation For full consideration application materials must be complete.
