Director of the Melanoma Skin Cancer Program- Health Sciences /Clinical X Associate/Full Professor

About the role

The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking an Associate or Full Professor as Director of the Melanoma Skin Cancer Program.

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery of clinical care at a new state-of-the-art outpatient dermatology clinic and/or Cancer Center located at the Mission Bay campus.
• Provide clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of pigmented lesions including primary melanomas and cutaneous oncology.
• Lead multidisciplinary collaboration with medical and surgical oncology, procedural dermatology, dermatopathology, and basic and translational research teams.
• Serve as a clinical provider at one of the other UCSF clinical sites and supervise trainees in the dermatology teaching clinics.

Requirements

• Candidates must be eligible for Dermatology licensure in California by the time of hire.
• Strong clinical skills and interest in serving a diverse patient population.

Benefits

• UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.
• The minimum base salary range for this position is $190,600 - $405,900.
• This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan.
