About the role

The opportunity involves providing strategic leadership, vision, and operational oversight for a comprehensive student success center serving undergraduate business students. Key responsibilities include leading an integrated academic advising model, career development and industry engagement efforts, and overseeing the Center's management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an integrated, holistic academic advising model
  • Develop and implement student success initiatives that improve retention, progression, and career outcomes
  • Oversee the overall management and continuous improvement of the Center
  • Deliver high-impact, student-centered services aligned with the mission and strategic priorities of the Carson College of Business
  • Directly supervise key functional areas, including academic advising, career support programs, and employer and industry relations
  • Report to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
  • Serve as a key contributor to the College’s student success strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with six (6) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, including at least three (3) years of managerial experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for up to one (1) year of the required experience
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience managing professional staff, including supervision of managers or team leads
  • Understanding of academic advising models, student development theory, and career readiness framework
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and use data to inform strategy, assess outcomes, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Overtime exempt
  • Monthly salary range: $8,600 - $10,700, commensurate with experience and qualifications
