Qualifications Prior sales and marketing experience of 5+ years, including some in a sales management role, is requiredStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in basic computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and ExcelThorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales departmentThis position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred Responsibilities Collaborate with sales managers and stakeholders to assess the performance of the organizationMeet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategiesRecruit, train, and develop your team to serve your customers betterUse marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other ways to actively pursue new businessGrow customer loyalty while also generating new business by nurturing long-term relationships
