About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of developers and contributing to the design and development of innovative software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements to existing systems.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and mentor junior team members.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team of developers.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with software development tools and technologies such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
