About the role
The Director of Sales will lead and develop the company's overall sales strategy, manage a team of 6 designers, and establish a structured growth plan for both the Raleigh market and coastal North Carolina expansion.
Responsibilities
- Leads and develops the company's overall sales strategy
- Manages a team of 6 designers
- Establishes a structured growth plan for both the Raleigh market and coastal North Carolina expansion
- Steps into active cabinet design support when needed to ensure continuity for clients and builders
- Drives revenue growth while maintaining the quality and reputation the company is known for
Requirements
- Proven success scaling a sales operation to $2M or more in revenue
- 7 to 10 years of experience in cabinetry, kitchen and bath design, or construction related sales leadership
- Demonstrated success selling to residential builders in a relationship driven environment
- Deep understanding of custom kitchen and bath cabinetry, construction driven project flow, and jobsite flow
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a sales focused team
- Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and accountability
Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple designers or a design team
- Experience operating in a custom build environment with shifting project timelines
- Background expanding sales into new or adjacent regional markets
