Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to identify and secure new catering opportunities
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to continuously expand and enhance our catering services
- Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
- Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network
- Cordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability
- Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives
- Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality sales
- Must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required
- Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required
Compensation
$65,000 - $75,000/year
