Key Responsibilities
- Lead revenue strategy across all revenue segments, including group, transient, function, and special events.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve budgeted revenue and market share goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and demand drivers to guide strategy.
- Manage key accounts and cultivate new business through prospecting, networking, and community involvement.
- Lead the sales and function team, including hiring, training, KPI, and performance achievement.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and use of sales systems and tools.
- Partner with hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of group and event business.
- Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and client functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree: Hotel/Restaurant Administration or Business, preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience leading a hotel sales team or serving in a senior-level hotel sales role in a select-service hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with sales and catering software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret market data, STR reports, and financial performance metrics.
