About the role
//TECHYSCOUTS is a group of friends dedicated to delivering exceptional websites, SEO, and digital marketing solutions. As the company grows, they are seeking a Director of Sales and Support to lead the Account Management department and drive revenue and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build //TECHYSCOUTS' Account Management department from day one, establishing team structure, workflows, hiring plans, and a sales and service model that scales.
Lead and grow a team of aggressively sales-focused Account Managers who serve as the primary point of contact for clients across all significant needs — taking a strategic, consultative approach to both service delivery and revenue generation.
Drive outbound sales efforts to acquire new e-commerce and SMB clients, leveraging your existing network and developing new pipeline through referral partnerships, events, and direct outreach.
Develop and execute an account-based sales strategy to maximize revenue and retention from the company's existing client base.
Lead company-wide training initiatives to align //TECHYSCOUTS staff with the new sales and service model, fostering a unified commercial culture across the organization.
Collaborate closely with leadership on a new vertical-focused marketing plan designed to generate inbound leads and provide the credibility needed to support the Account Management team's sales efforts in the field.
Represent //TECHYSCOUTS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities; support and potentially lead event-based sales and marketing initiatives.
Work cross-functionally with our delivery, product, and marketing teams to ensure client success and create feedback loops that improve our offerings.
Contribute to the development and execution of innovative sales campaigns, including contests, raffles, sweepstakes, and performance-based outreach initiatives.
Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and client retention KPIs; report regularly to the COO and leadership team with clear insights and action plans.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, including at least 3-5 years in an agency environment.
Proven track record of building and leading high-performance sales or account management teams, ideally in a high-growth agency or digital services company.
Broad and current knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, including web development, SEO, paid media, and conversion rate optimization.
Experience in selling digital marketing services.
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to recruit, develop, and retain top commercial talent.
Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, energized by building something new, and capable of operating with minimal infrastructure and bureaucratic bloat.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent //TECHYSCOUTS credibly to senior stakeholders at client organizations.
Experience managing remote teams and thriving in a distributed work environment.
