About the role

The Director of Safety is responsible for ensuring that all operations within the Telecom and Construction divisions adhere to the highest safety standards. This role requires a deep understanding of industry regulations and a proven track record in managing safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures for both divisions
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks
• Train employees on safety protocols and emergency response plans
• Collaborate with legal and insurance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead safety committees and engage with stakeholders to foster a culture of safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the Telecom and/or Construction industries
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing safety programs
• Knowledge of risk assessment and management techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
